Life long sharing . . .

Archive for August 2016

This is the subsequent series from 台湾Bar. It covers the time in 15-th century, where Spanish and Portuguese explorers conquered the ocean, and what happened in Taiwan at the time.

Interesting question asked… if Admiral 郑成功 lived longer and managed to execute his plan to invade Luzon… SEA might be of a different view from today.

I must say after watching these two series with my girls, KUDO to the team who produce these videos.

My girls enjoyed this series about Taiwan History a lot. They put it in such a funny, and humorous way.

Here is a good blog explaining the difference between “Sebab” vs “Kerana” vs “Oleh Sebab” vs “Oleh Kerana”: http://cikgutancl.blogspot.my/2015/05/perbezaan-antara-sebab-oleh-sebab.html

Sebab” is a noun, carrying the meaning of ‘reason’;

Kerana” is a conjunction with the meaning of ‘because’;

Oleh” is a preposition, and when used in a sentence, must be followed by a noun;

therefore, we can use “Oleh sebab” as a conjunction to mean ‘because’, but “Oleh kerana” is totally wrong.

Try these questions:

olehsebabkerana

The correct one is 2, 3, 5. Do you manage to them right?

You can find more exercises in Cikgu Tan CL’s blog.
