Maths – Interior and Exterior Angles of A Polygon

This is a video explaining how to get the sum of the interior angles of a polygon.

In brief, for a polygon with n sides, the sum of the interior angles 内角和 = (n – 2) x 180°.

And for a regular polygon (all the sides and angles are the same), each angle = [(n – 2) x 180°] ÷n

 

For exterior angles of a regular polygon, the sum is always 360°, as shown below (from Mathwarehouse).

Therefore, each external angle of a regular polygon with n sides = 360° ÷n
