Chinese – Comprehension 19 – 圆明园

Today’s passage shared about the old Chinese Imperial Gardens, known in Chinese as Yuan Ming Yuan. It was known for its extensive collection of garden and building architectures and other works of art. In 1860, during the Second Opium War, this garden was completely destructed the Anglo-French expedition force.
