This coming holiday movie – My Fair Lady 1964

Posted on: February 27, 2014

Going to watch this movie with my girls this coming holiday. Hahaha, .. exam hasn’t started, this Mummy starts holiday planning already 😛

My Mum introduced this movie to us when we were young. Yes, my Mum. She is super cool 🙂

It’s about this arrogant phonetics Professor Henry Higgins, who took a bet from Colonel Pickering that he could transform unrefined, dirty flower girl Eliza Doolittle into a lady (yes, the real lady), and turn her Cockney accent into a proper English.

Well, Eliza really spoke ‘weird’ English. Still can remember the “Loverly” song at the beginning of the movie. Yes, “Loverly”

And it’s fun to see those lessons she had to endure to correct her English.

Oh ya, the professor is truly ‘arrogant’.

Don;t you think that mum looks like Audry Hepburn too?

Now you say it, YES ! 😀

I would recommend “Sound of music” for my children in this holiday.

You are right. That is another very good one. mm.. I should keep a list of these wonderful oldies movies. 🙂
