Today 爷爷 and 奶奶 came to visit. We all went out for lunch. When the food were served, asked the girls to invite 爷爷 and 奶奶 to eat first.

Ling quickly said, “大家吃饭.”

Ying started to eat and I stopped her, “Ying, you didn’t invite 爷爷 and 奶奶 to eat?”

Ying replied, “I invited them from my heart already.”

These lines in the document make me worried a lot:

“However, while reverse osmosis removes many harmful minerals, such as salt and lead, it also removes some healthy minerals, such as calcium and magnesium. This is why water that is treated by reverse osmosis benefits by going through a magnesium and calcium mineral bed. This adds calcium and magnesium to the water, while also increasing the pH and decreasing the corrosive potential of the water. Corrosive water may leach lead and copper from distribution systems and household water pipes.”

“The removal of these minerals, including calcium and magnesium, can actually make water unhealthy, especially for people with inadequate diets and people who live in hot climates, as water can provide these necessary minerals.”

Carbon filtration is about 0.2 micron… …. ….

Have you read last few days newspaper, about the girl being rapped in school by her schoolmate. Really 心寒. Horrible.. so so horrible.. My heart sank like Titantic.

Feel so helpless nowadays, with the climate change, the natural disasters, draught, earth quake, and don’t know what else to come, and now this. How can I protect them from all this?

Recently so many bad things happened in school, girl being slapped by schoolmates because of girlfriend boyfriend stuff; boy being beaten to death caused refused to pay the gangster.  And then there are news where top students, studying in top schools, committed suicide. What happen to our school? What happen to our youngsters? What happen to our education?

I like to watch Korean drama series. Recently was following these two: 检察官公主 and 灿烂的遗产。

One part of the 检察官公主, the girl wanted to move out from her parents place to stay nearer to the guy she admired, but then, she said, the society does not allow an unmarried girl to move out without parents consensus. And I heard Korea has very strict 户籍制度。I wonder how true was that.

And I notice, a few series, there are showing the grandma 奶奶 (usually a rich one :P) are quite powerful in a family. Seems like the children and grand children need to listen to her and obey her will.
